| I got this car for free, basically. This guy I knew wanted the motor and trans to put in a 55 pickup. So I pulled the 305 tune port and 700R there is the car title and all. I had a turbo 400 and a decent running 350 out of an impala. Os I pulled it and decided while it was off to do a few changes. I put a set of dart pro 1 heads, lunati cam, and roller rockers. I have just started the restoration process and hope to have it ready to drive some next spring. It is a little ruff, but for what I payed for it it is great. I took the motor, trans, gear, wheels and slicks from the impala and started in on it. My goal is to build a good street strip car, it will probably see more strip time than street, but that may change later on. |
