| Purchased in October 1991. At A.J. Foyt Honda-Kingwood,TEXAS Purchase price- $4665-TTL cash out the door. Don't Bother washin it!!! Odometer - 80165 miles only. Not bad for a used Houston commuter My research back then was a sharp eye at the financial guys desk . I am the second owner, It was originally purchased at Buckalew Chevy The first time I cleaned out the spare tire well, I found the Divorce papers of the previos owners. The Mrs. took the Camaro, the Mr. got to keep the 1990 chevy nova( err I mean toyoturd nova, yeah think back, thats one you tried to forget ) At the time she was almost mint. ARE 330 sawblades, and the blue stripes above the silver gound effects were gone. I added limo tint to the back hatch, and 20 percent on the doors. The guy at the tint shop gave me a couple of pieces of fiber door board and I cut out inserts to fit my T-Tops, then they coverd it with blue headliner material that was left over from a dealer warrantee repair,free material just $20 for their efforts. Next I added amber fog lights that I got for $10 at a garage sale. Total score, they were a dead match for the ones the dealers were installing at a much higher price. Then came the stereo. ALL KENWOOD that I purchased in SAUDI ARABIA dirt cheap, right before the first Gulf War. 2-10" subs, 2-5 1/4" mids, 2-2" tweets, 1 Kenwood 8020 amp, and 1 Kenwood 9020 amp, a 3 chanel powered active crossover, and 1 pair of Kenwood High-Pass passive crossovers. I installed it my self, it was actually the second car I put this system into. After that she was all miles and maintenance for years. The only time she stuck me was at work 1 time when the original battery crapped out. The next time she broke was in front of the house, so if it was'nt for the fact it slipped the timing chain and messed up the motor I wouldn't of counted it. |
