| Daveinet's 1983 Revcon Motorhome 31' Prince | |||
| Front wheel drive, low profile custom chassis motorhome. Aircraft aluminum construction. Center of gravity is 35". Weighs 13500 lbs wet. When the engine burnt a valve, I dropped a 502 crate motor w/MPFI in it. Thorley Tr-Y dual 2.5 exhaust, Magnaflow mufflers. With original gearing, you smoke the wheels from a 20 mph roll. I've since changed gearing, but it still chirps when it hits second gear. Towing a 4600 lbs GC, it will hold 80 mph up a 6% grade. It will comfortably cruise at well over 90 mph. I've seen 98 on more than one occasion. I also modified the suspension so I could use Koni FSD shocks. Handling is exceptional for such a large vehicle. |
