Give them a +2 and they would look a lot better. I think some gold gta wheels in 18's would look sweet if they made a set then put them on black 4th gen ram air.

Our Austin group cruised down to Houston in the mid 90s (I think it was) to the GM tour coming through, and I remember Fatal being there, with a 4th gen dash, solid headlights vs the seperate highs and lows of stock, and pretty much everything under the hood, and the chassis, polished or chromed.
I know I took pics, just can't seem to locate them right now...
Fatal looks as good today as it did 10 years ago! Was it a 'vert back them? Memory says it was a hardtop, but I wouldn't be surprised if I'm wrong. Memory of before 2 years ago sucks now.
yes it does make sense, but some things made in the 80's dont scream it like those wheels. i never said anything about the 80's being bad however, so it wasnt an insult

I love all things 80's--the cars, the music, the styles, the members only jackets (i actually wear my dads around all the time).
But staying on topic, any of the stock 16 inch 3rd gen wheels look fantastic and suit our cars personally. Thats not to say that aftermarket wheels dont look good either, its just that i prefer the stock look:

I like my TTM, i was going to get the orginal TT2's but changed my mind at the last minute. I havent seen any other Third gen with them either!!! I'll get some better pics when i get it back from being Painted
I got 3 sets in mind welds pro stars with a 26 10.50 mickey street radial or go with 17'' boyd hotrods $$$ or the kmc hotwheel sixty eight save some money! but i cant find these wheels on a thrid gen anywhere i dont want to gamble on my imagination.

Knew I had the pics of it from the Chevrolet tour SOMEWHERE...Album Had different wheels back then.
They look nice but I like the factory 16in Irocz wheels I have the best. I have kuhmo ecsta's 295/50/r16...those tires stick. for my second set of wheels I have 16inch centerlines polished with mickey's, i want to get some torque thrust thought 17x12's or 17x10's, for the races instead of the centerlines. My lil brothers rims on his 3rd gen vette are sweet also(79 L-48), he has those bf goodrich tires that r half slicks and half radials those tires r pretty bad a//. just adding my

I thought BFG was the only maker of 295/50R16 The s...or ANY 16 bigger than a 255.
Tirerack doesn't show any brand other than BFG for a 295/50R16. The kumho web site doesn't even show that size...
on my stock irocz rims i have ecstas' stock size tires,245/50/r16...The 295' are on a third set of rims those tires r actually a noname tire from pepboys...sorry for the wrong info.
The 295's actually are a lil wide for the car when i hit a bad bump the rear quarter digs into them!

Reason: tires
Personally I love my roc rims but these 3 rims are nice also. The tri spoke rims my frend had on his gta they looked great...i know they come in 15x10, not for sure but also 16x10. On his bird he had 15x10's with 295/50/r15's. they looked sweet but each person has their own opinion!

I like the earlier Iroc wheels (like RocsRose has on his car above). The 89+ ones with the cheap plastic huge fake nut in the middle just don't do it for me. Plus the earlier Iroc wheel has some dish to it, whereas the fake nutted ones are just flat spokes.
And I think everyone agrees on the 16" TA wheels as the best stock TA wheel.
Those tri spoke wheels just scream pickup truck/custom van to me. That's where I usually see them.
I dont like the newer Irocz rims either. No depth just shallow like a tuner wheel...Da// rice burners! My wheels dont look that nice anymore though I rellay need to polish them up! She has been sittin up 4 6mths between the motor build and work and my daughter I have very little time for her. As of right now her stats r as follows.
Interior 95% (all new red interior, waiting on my new vette seats)
exterior 30% (no dents or dings just needs paint & gfx work)
Motor 99% (havent had time for the distributor)

onfire, your directional front rotors are on backwards. The slots should angle the other direction. I can't even count how many times I have seen directional rotors on peoples' cars backwards

yeah hes right...look at mine, they are the right way (this is the driver side tire, onfires is the passenger tire):
Personally, I'm not all about how much money you drop on each rim. I've got 4th gen rims that look ok. and i have the american racing rims in the picture. $250 for a set of 4. I custom painted the center caps, made all the difference.
