How about those new C6 wheels? I think they look pretty sweet... I did this quick photoshop, but it doesnt do these wheels justice. I think they will look awesome on a 3rd gen.

Boyd Coddington "Shrike" wheels

I searched a long time for a wheel that wasn't common on a 3rd gen but also looked sharp as well as went along with the body lines of the car. I finally decided on a set of Boyd Coddington "Shrike" wheels. I was surprised that they looked better than I imagined them. The pics I have taken just don't do them justice. They look much better in person.

Below is one of the pics I took. You can also view some more pics to see different angles at http://www.bhamfbody.com/91z.

(Sorry for the large pic.)

I gotta say I am very partial to the ROH ZS which is why I put them on my GTA. Best wheel for the buck is the Eagle 185 in my opinion...so I put them on my '95 FOrmula. BUt I am very jealous of some of the birds with the 96-00 WS6 wheels on their cars.
TT II's and Kandied's rims are sweet too.

Oh and to the guy who likes the Borbet Type T..I had 18" Type TD's (different center cap) on my 93 Z28 for like a week or two before I sold it. but never got a chance to take really nice pics. I think they are awesome if you get them wide enough!

I love my 87 iroc wheels. I think they are one of the best OEM wheel designs ever.

I would love to see some firehawks on a camaro that is still. I've always loved that wheel too.

I saw these and fell in love.

Excuse the rust on the rotor, its been sitting during the suspension and drivetrain rebuild.

The C6 rims look ok, but I cant wait for the C6 Z06 to come out... wana see what they will look like.

Id say best style rims that can fit the most tire if teh 17x11 ZR1's, but best looking rim is probably a toss up of teh Hawks or Z06 rims. Polished 85-87 Iroc's repainted with the black stripe look awesome too.

GTA- Those are 17x9.5 ZR1 replicas from AFS wheels. I decided to go with the black powdercoat and the machined lip. Theyre available in polished and chrome too. Would you believe it if I told you I picked these up from ebay for around $400 . They also carry the Z06 wheels, check out their stuff at www.afswheels.com, then watch their online ebay store (of the same name) for a deal.
Good luck, Efrain.

Personally I'm a huge fan of the person on here with the Fikse FM5s. Not sure if he posted already, but those wheels are beautiful.

I'd really like to goto those one day instead of the Zr1s.

I think ROH makes a nice looking wheel for an affordable price. And they don't look like what's on every other third '60s muscle car out there.

I stopped it at the rear of the hood and it does not carry to the rear deacklid. I went back and forth wondering if I should paint the rear when getting ready to paint the car.

I decided not to carry it to the rear because of the 91-92 style wing. IMO, the rear stripes just don't look quite right when you have a wing that is elevated. It seems a bit cluttered or busy to me since you have a stipe on top and bottom.

If I had an IROC or convertable style wing that laid flat accross the rear, I most likely would have carried it to the back.

They were $995 + $50 extra for the 9.5" rim ($25 x 2) + shipping, which was about $100. I think I was out of pocket about $1145 for the wheels shipped to my door.

I ordered them from Sportruck.com.

I don't think that was a bad price since each wheel is custom made to order with the backspacing that you prefer (at no additional charge). Therefore, they fit perfectly with no expensive bilet adapters.

I bought those once then returned them when I discovered (perhaps I was being naive) that they 'look' directional, but aren't....so you swirl one way on one side and the other way on the other side.

Thanks for the info! I've been trying to make up my mind on a set of 17" rims, I've been thinking of either gong with AR Torque Thrust II's or AR 200S's (aka "daisy" rims). But those Boyd wheels look awsome, so I may have to go with those instead!

A lot.

I'm not a fan of factory, unless its larger sized, like those 18" IROC wheels.
I don't care too much for 4th gen & 'vette wheels because they have a FWD offset.
I don't even like my TTII's anymore, since they're too common......

It's very hard to find something that will fit, look good, and that no one else has......
