I agree... I have those on my 82. I like them, and everyone asks about them too. I have been wanting to switch to a larger wheel though...

I was wondering if they were the Drift R's as I was considering them., But when I was told they were to be available for our cars and then the said ROH changed their mind and it would be a year later, I got the SZ's

The blue car has not been driven in about 3 years or so... I was at one point putting a new sway bar in the rear, but never finished. I did a motor swap, then swapped back to the old motor, never driving it in the meantime.....Long story, but to try and make it short, I lost interest in the car a while ago, have way too much money wrapped up into it to even think of selling it, so I let it sit while hoping to gain some motivation again at some point. I built a killer engine with a blower, put it in, broke in the cam, then lost interest again, sold the engine/ blower, now the other engine is back in place and I am sort of gaining interest again. Major love hate relationship with this car!!!

I like modified early style C5's in 17" all the way around, but my favorite by far are the Boze Stinger's that were on Kandied's old car, but in 17".
I have those C5 wheels on my '90, but still need to do the appearance mod to them.

Here's a PS of the modified 17" C5's on my old '89.

Thats exactly where I ordered my wheels from and the price has increase since the day I ordered my wheels. I paid $1680.00 shipped to my door, the wheels was $390.00 a piece and shipping $120.00.
This is for the 18X10-18 and 18X8-18.
I just need for my back tires (Nittto 555R Drag Radials) to get in from http://www.need-4-speed.com/nitto.htm, since it's been over a month when I ordered them I will get my money back tomorrow and get the from www.Discounttiredirect.Com . After just looking at the website I see why they have not shipped my tires. I paid $199.00 for the tires now I see they want $299.00 per tire may they had the wrong price listed on the web site,
NITTO-6000 285/35VR18 NT555R Drag Radial $299.99
I emailed a guy and was quoted the same price $199.00
Well I see how things turn out tomorrow.....

I know they say its from the signature series, but every wheel in that series comes with a stepped lip from the outside in, whereas the gotcha series has the smooth 'deep dish' look. I emailed before I bought to get my hotrods done with the 'deep dish' (or reverse mount) since I also saw they were in the sig. series, but was assured that they are part of the gotcha series.....here's what I got

The outside inner lip painted black. To see what it looked like before I do it I put electrical tape around the inner lip, and it really does look that much better, but it's subtle. No one has noticed the difference unless I point it out, but they agree for some reason that it looks better. Just the way I like it.

1. How much banging/lip rolling did you have to do in order to get the wheels tuck under the WW?

2. Do you feel that you could have went with a 305X35-18 without a problem?

3. I'm going with the same size tires (Nitto 555R Drag Radial 285x35-18) in the rear and Nitto 555 Extreme 245X40-18 Front.

nothing was done to the fenders or ww....but with a ring on my middle finger I cannot fit it between the wheel and inside of the ww , so it's a close fit....wouldnt be able to fit much wider at all.

I agree Camaro Guy. I would of liked my wheels a little more tucked also (I cringe whenever I see rocks, why can't paint be bullet proof), but I am also in the same boat, if i went larger than a 285 I think there would be some issues. I do think I could get away with a 45 series tire instead of a 35 series though. I have atocrossed with my wheels and I have not had any rubbing issues.

Guys,
I've started putting pictures of our customer's cars in a photo gallery at http://www.skulte.com/gallery

Here's Matt Ringsmuth with his C6 rims and 2" SPD adapters

Dave Zug's 17x9" 4th gen ROH RT's

Andrew Choset with 17x9.5 ROH ZS's

Dan Burk (1LE Brake Guru!) with his 17x9.5 ROH ZS's

James Greenwell with the 17x9 Camaro SS wheels, LS1 front brakes, and SPD adapters.

I'll keep adding onto the gallery as we get more pictures, and from the main page, you can search by the car name, color, wheel, etc...

I was tired of the corrosion on my original rims because of the dumb design of clear coating aluminum rims. Don't get me wrong I love the style and that's why I had them powder coated the same color as my car and I also had gold flakes imbedded in the coating. Looks awesome in the right light and I don't have to worry about corrosion.

Does anyone have pics of Black ZR1 Rims on a black camaro wondering if that would look good? Also thinking about C6 rims.

Haven't seen mine on any other f-body. KMC "Venom" 17X8. KMC marketed them for "Truck/SUV/RWD." Since the Camaro is "RWD," why shouldn't these work?
