I am so close to buying 18" iroc chrome replica wheels for my 86 Iroc and was wondering for the guys who have them if they have any turning clearance issues. If there's no issues I will be selling my stock rims which I just had redone and hyper silver painted with virtually new tires on them as well.
i have them on my 91 with eibach springs which lower it an inch and i have no clearance issues at all. It has never rubbed. i have them wrapped with 245/40/18
I just bought my 92 RS and it came with the 18" iroc wheels. They rub just slightly when the wheels are turned all the way. I have 255/40 tires on them.
If you're looking for a slightly wider IROC wheel, Oasis makes their 18" wheel in an 8.5" width, which should accomodate a 275 tire, though I haven't actually tried it yet. The Oasis wheels are USA made too, but they do cost more than the ebay stuff.
I got my tires mounted on the 18's today. I went with a 255/45/18 for the rear and a 245/40/18 for the front.
I tried to get the 255/45/18 to fit the front, but it was about an 1/2 inch to big. I am very happy with the stance the car has right now. I will post pics when the weather clears up.
I had 20" Irocs on my 89 Camaro RS for a while, looked nice..but I had to do some work on the wheel weld. Took them off to put 16" racing wheels for better traction and rubber.

Fill me in please on the problems that the 20" caused, I really want to put the 20's on my Z
20's dont do it, yes they look cool and everyone is going to say. "wow those rims look nice" i have 22" on my poor 91 rs and i cant wait to take them off!! i think i will go with 17 in front and 18 back. camaro is not ment for 20" rims nor 22's for that matter haha
I got a question about these rims too. I plan on putting 18's on my 91 rs but i am not sure which ones to by, cause on ebay there are some that i dont know the brand of and there is the american racing ones, which ones are better?
Your going to get mixed reviews on this. I can only tell you I had a good experience with customwheelsmarket.com
I have had mine for a long time now with no issues. They were good on price and had fast shipping.

i got another question. I will be buying a set of 18's around january. so my question is is cold weather and lots or rain and some snow bad for the chrome wheels? should i wait till spring to put them on or does it matter. I live in washington and it rains alot in the winter
ilove the looks of these, but does anybody have a picture of the 18in iroc's with a larger tire? i think i want to go with a taller tire if i get some.
