Wheels and Tires - STOCK

Don't know if anyone here has heard of open road racing but that is the type of racing i do. Basically time trials on closed highway. (www.openroadracing.com) What I need are a set of rims and tires for this type of racing and also autocross. My questions for you all are 1) What are the maximum size tires and wheels i can put on stock without any mods 2) is it easy to mod to get bigger wheels and tires and 3) if i put a 4th gen rear on the car what will that make the maximum tire and wheel sizes i can use now without mods.

I would like the z06 wheels but i feel im going to need to do some fabricating.

Sorry Guys Forgot to use search feature first, found out a little but if you would like to post feel free.

Re: Wheels and Tires - STOCK

the zr1 rims are a popular setup for a large tire. 17x11 one the rear and 9.5 is think on the front. 315or on the back and 275 on the front i also believe. these are modern offset wheels so you need spacers in the front, something like 2" depending on the offset you buy and the same for the rears, unless you use a 4th gen rear. The rear may require some hammering, but some people here have them on the car without any inner fender mods, search for 17x11 in this forum and browse the threads
