slicks on IROC wheels???

has anyone used their stock IROC-Z 16s to put slicks on??? If so how did they do, and what was the tire and size you used?? I was just wondering cuz I have my set of Z wheels and I wanted to use them for something. Right now I have C6 rims with nice street tires on them and I didnt want to use those rims for the drag strip this summer.

Re: slicks on IROC wheels???

I bought a set of IROC wheels for my track tires, a set of Mickey Thompson ET Streets that are 26.00x9.5 they fit fine no complaints here

EDIT- saw you are a 6 speed....manual transmissions dont like the "street slick" so get the actual slick

255/50/16 Comp TA drag radials on IROC rims.
Old and worn out. Couldn't get my 60' quicker than 1.8x. Should be low 1.7's.
