Wide Tires

I am ordering AR Torqlites for my 91 Z28. 18x7 in front 18x8 in back. What are the widest tires i can get on an 8" rim for the back. I also am going to lower it with the hotchkis kit. I was thinking like a 275/35/18 for the back, will this work? Any Input or pics would be great! thanks

Re: Wide Tires

you can fit a much wider rim on the rear, use at least a 9.5" rim. 8's are just too small on the rear

and you cant put that tire on an 8" rim. You need a rim at least 9" wide for that tire, 10 would be ideal.
