wow! really? the rear looks really high.... front does look lowered and sits real nice but the rear sits high.. was it the same drop all around?
yea i know im getting larger rear tires maybe, if not i might cut half a coil out of the back, it doesnt look that bad but i'd like to get rid of a bit of that gap. other pics look really good so i dunno
Anyone with those "wagon wheels" have them colored a gunmetal gray or black? I'm starting to think I might like to use those on my Z28, any pics of a black version?
Im itching to join this club with a set of these rims.
18 x 10.5" - 56mm rear - 70.3mm and 17 x 9.5" - 54mm fronts
I dont know what spacers I should use with them since my car is lowered or what would be a nice tire to go with aswell.
But I love the looks of these rims. Its a deeper chrome lip and gunmetal grey powder coated spokes.I was tired of seeing all the chrome lip and black wheel combo.

Love the wheels, Never gonna change em, I am missing the front right wheel, gonna pick it up to have it looking the same from both sides. As always 18s on the back 17s in the front.
wow some real nice cars in this post heres mine, ohh by the way Brisk car looks awsome with those wheels, what size tires are you running?
I'm going to assume your asking about the C5 Z06 wheels on my blue '91 (I really need to update my avitar!) I'm running Kumho Ecsta Supra 275/35ZR18's on all four corners.

Holy Crap. Between you, and Fords88bird, and iansane, Im sold on the c6 wheels. Man that is the perfect stance, and wheel inset. Just beautiful.
Can one of you fine fellows tell me what spacers, and wheel/tire sizes you have. Also, Im sure you are all lowered, so what springs, or are you guys using spindles, both?
Ive researched, but there are literally hundreds of combos. Between you three guys, the combination is perfect. Im sure you are all close in setup.
Drummer thanks, I got 2" adapters front and back, 255/40-18 in front, 275/35-19 rear and trimmed springs. Later.
No problem. You have a very nice car. And iansane (had, I remember it was wrecked and hes rebuilding) and Keeslinger31 both have nice rides.
Anyway, yours are the real corvette wheels, not the aftermarket "fakes" that are 18 x 9 and 18 x 9.5s from Hawks, correct? And where did you get the adapters? And how much did you trim from the springs?
If youd like, you can PM me the details, to avoid derailing the thread. But as far as Im concerned this information is as important and relevant to wheels as backspacing.
I just changed the look of my wagon wheels and next week going 18 all around. Putting the 17 on my 69 camaro.
Wow I was playing around with doing the same thing to my wagon wheels last week. i was only going to black out the "cubed" portion though. What did you use, paint or vinyl ?
I'm thinking of going back to stock. I like the Corvette wheels now but the tires are almost shot and I don't think the wheels will look good/modern anymore after another set of tires.
Just finished. have not tested yet. 305/45/18 Nitto Extreme Drag radials in rear with 12" LS1 brakes. 255/45/17 Nitto 555's up front with 13" C5 brakes.
Looks to be plenty of clearance (finally).

Yeah I was not very clear. I just thought that maybe the Corvette wheels would start to look dated by the end of a 2nd set of tires were I to buy some for them. SInce I only drive it occasionally the 2nd set would last 10+ years and by then the wheels would look dated.
I decided to go with the stock wheels since tires are cheaper and they are already dated so they are not going to get any worse!
