Tire recomendations

I read the sticky and still got nowhere with my decision. I hate dealing with tires but i know that they are one of the most important parts of the car. I just got a T/A with 16in rims on it. The tires are toast, i think its running 245s in the rear and 215s in the front. I want the biggest possible tire size to run that looks good on that rim, and i have 500$ to spend give or take. Im reading that people go as high as a 255 tire on all four corners but i have no idea which tires to choose, or which size to go with.

Any help is appreciated

Chris

Go to TIRERACK.Com and check tires available for your model and read the reviews from people who bought those tires. Also the brands/prices listed gives you a headstart if want to buy in your local area.

Re: Tire recomendations

i ended up going with khumo ecsta ast 245/50/16 on all fours(those are the stock size that came on z28s. after seeing them on tirerack... i got all four of them locally for 300... or you can get them on tirerack for 340 shipped i think... they grip really well in dry and wet weather... they also have a little groove to protect your wheels lip from curves.
