traction help

hey guys. i'm racing in the domestic class at the friday night drags at atlanta motor speedway in hampton, ga. i have to use a street radial tire, no DOT drag radials. i've already relocated the lca's and modified them to be stiffer. i'm not getting any wheel hop, just a little tire spin. my question is what's a good tire size i can use and wheel size/backspacing that will fit under my car with out protruding? i'd like to squeeze a 10 inch rim under there. how difficult (if possible) are mini tubs (if needed)? i see a lot of 4th gens with really wide tires tucked in nicely. thanks guys...

Re: traction help

Get some drag struts and/or shocks and that should take care of your lil tire spin. Next is aftermarket torque arm.
