Re: c6 z06 rims on!

Probly could go with a 2" rear spacer to tuck in a touch more. Think it would look abit better that way but still i like those rims. Will look good on that car for sure

looks like you had some room, just maybe beat in the fender wells a bit. Had to do that on my C6 rims

You should have plenty of room, in the back, to run a 2" spacer.

Re: c6 z06 rims on!

get 2" spacers they stick out just a bit much, you will only have to massage the inner fender a bit, and you will be pleased with the results. and you will need to drop the car a bit just my opinion. oh only drawback to c6's is how small that rear rotors is, makes me sad everytime i see mine

Looks nice , but just like the others said try the 2'' spacers I think they'd work better, I always like the way big wide tires look on the back, what brand tires are those by the way?

Those 10.5 dia brake rotors look sort of lost inside those wheels. Not my idea of a good wheel & tire package for that car.

Re: c6 z06 rims on!

had issues with the fronts... they tie rods were in the way for turning... they rubbed on the rim so we grinded some of it off... same with the strut piece... it had no use... it was just a lip.. the tire rubs on the little plastic wheel well in the front... fix that problem later.. but got that all cleaned up took it to a car wash washed in ( automatic never going to it again bent my antenna wdf! ) but after driving it we noticed that the rear passenger side tire started to wobble... went home parked it next day after work i brought in the garage and tighten the lug nuts again on both sides drove around started again to wobble again so i said wdf! my car had to go to the shop the next day to get a trailshaft bushing put in and i told them to look at it. what you know i some how bent my axle? so now its sitting at the shop outside waiting for a day to get off work early so i can take my damn axle off the parts car to bring it up there... but seriously how did i bend a axle?

What size wheels & tires are the rears? The rearend looks offset, to the passenger side. If it is, I'd suggest an adjustable PHB, to bring it back to center.

I'm with Stephen, from these pics, it looks like the rear is offset. Check it out.
Overall, looks like a fun project & ride. Enjoy.

255s on a 9.5" rim? Why so narrow of a tire?

I have 275s up fron, had 285s rear both on 9" wide wheels, perfect fit. 4th gens come STOCK with 275s on 9" wheels.

I typically try to aim for the minimum of the tire manufacturers recommended size for their tire. If they say 8"-10"? 9" if is "perfect.....

My rear 315s are on 11" wheels. Recommended size is 10"-12".

PHB = Panhard Bar

A bent axle couldn't offset the tires like that. The entire axle tube would have o be SERIOUSLY bent, to offset it that much & then the wheel & tire would sit at an angle.

I think your going to need an adjustable panhard bar, like what is in my sig. Other places make one too & you can get them with polyurethane buchings, not rod ends like I did.

Not in the pic.

If your whole axle TUBE was bent, the wheel on that side would be at a tilt.

In one pic, the entire axle seemed to be offset from center, towards the passenger side.

Drivers side tire sitting in...Passenger side tire sticking out.
