Re: rims what you think

Personally? I wouldn't use those wheels as anything but jackstands.

Harsh, yes. But you did ask for opinions!

My choice, is to buy a wheel that fits & doesn't not require $200 adapters & 40 lug nuts.

not to crazy about them i think your car would look 10 times better if you painted the gold part on the rims black until you find a good deal on wheels that you really like

You asked TODAY if they'd look good, yet you mounted them on your car a WEEK AGO? Where'd you get the adapters to put them on?

Where are the pics?

He didn't buy the rims yet he just bought a set of new TIRES off the guy and mounted those. The rims are appear to still be a toss up.

Re: rims what you think

I really like the gold crosslace wheels on your car. And having to mount spacers and such is B.S.
Heres a better plan. Buy those for the $400. Take all the tires off and keep them for your car when it needs them. Spend some time and elbow grease polishing those out. Then re-sell them for $400 to somebody with a 4th gen Camaro. It's a win win plan!

sadly those wheels are very unlikely to sell for 400 by them selves

Those rims don't look good on your Firebird. In our haste to improve our cars sometimes we look past the good designs that GM did like with the Crosslace rims.

I will buy the OEM's from you since you don't like them. Send me a pmail with pics and a price.

I'm not really a fan of those wheels either... especially when compared to crosslace wheels, and also that they're 16's. If they were 17's I think I could make an exception. Real question is, what do you think?

I got a set of C5 magnesiums that might set that thing off pretty well. Let me know if interested. Your current selection doesnt compliment the car in any way.. just my thought.
