TORQ THRUST M

Would these fit on a gta without using spacers? I wanted some in 17x9 for the front & rear. If they do fit, what's the correct backspacing that I would need. I wanna buy these soon so any advice would be helpful.

Re: TORQ THRUST M

No one has any answers? I used the search but didn't find anything concrete. I found these rims on ebay for less than 500 but I have no clue what backspacing I would need without spacers for 4 17x9's on an 89 gta.

Re: TORQ THRUST M

no the ttm in a 17x9 wont fit without spacers. they all come in a 4th gen backspacing. the closest thing i have found is jegs has the sport torq wheels. 17x8 fronts with a 4.5 backspacing and 17x9 rears with a 5" backspacing. im not sure what backspacing you need to run 9" wheels up front

Re: TORQ THRUST M

I guess that means I'm back to square one then. All I want is a black rim with a polished lip in a 17x9 that I can run without spacers is that too much to ask for?

I'm running 17x9.5 centerline daggers with 5.5" backspacing without spacers on my 88 IROC-Z.

i don't remember the whole deal i went around and around on with a local company, but i did end up going over to 8 inch up front, 8 in back because of the whole fitment issue, got 10.5 inch tires on the back tho, wish i woulda went bigger

Re: TORQ THRUST M

Maybe not exactly what you're looking for, but Ion Alloy Style 625 is available in 17 x 9 in our bolt pattern (5 x 4.75/120.65) with a 0 mm offset. Those should work. I'd personally run 8's up front, but you shouldn't have a problem with 9's.

$130 apiece here.
