where to buy spacers?

i read the sticky about wheels and fitment, i have an 87 firebird and i recently purchased a set of 1996 trans am rims and tires... from the sticky i determined that i need 2" spacers on all 4 sides for these rims to fit, does anyone know a good place to buy them cheap? i have looked and cannot even find 2" spacers for sale... also i have a 4th gen rear that will be going on before next spring... will i need the spacers with the new rear or not? i could not find a definative answer for that, any and all help is greatly appreciated and if someone has already asked these exact questions the please PM me with the post info and delete this one. i am sorry for anyones wasted time reading this and i did not intend to annoy anyone who would just post "search it" i have searched it and as usual the search takes an hour to sift through the crap and most of the time i cannot find a definative answer anyway, thanks for reading and have a good day

Re: where to buy spacers?

well, the sticky at the top of the page "all you ever wanted to know about wheels fitment" has this useful link
http://www.skulte.com/adapterfaq.html

you wont need spacers with the 4th gen rear, the front you will, 2 : usually works, sometime people use 2.25 it depends on the wheel.

Re: where to buy spacers?

Again, You will not need spacers for the rear with the 4th gen rearend, I know because I just did the swap myself. With that being said I now have a set of 2" spacers that I would not mind parting with. I am unsure of the brand but I can assure you they work fine. I bought a set of 4 before my rearend decided that working was no longer in my best interests (very mad about this). I am still running the other 2 on the front and I assure you they work great. If you want them, they are yours for $100.00 shipped. In the interest of full discloser, one of the ten lug nuts that will go with them is a little buggered up but it will still work. I put maybee 300 miles on these.

Re: where to buy spacers?

i finally found a set online shipped for 69.99 id rather give my money to someone on this site though, so if you or someone would take 75$ shipped then we could do this, if not im going to have to get the ebay ones so i can get the old wheels off and sell them, i need more money to get more parts lol
