Stock rim help ?

got a 1990 Iroc, 16 in rims on it, how wide are they???

i dont have anything handy to measure it (someones been in my tools)

are the 8 or 9 in?

16's are 8, 15's are 7.

Note that the 16's are front/rear dependant - they have "front" and "rear" casted into the rim, and they cannot be swapped (ie front have to go up front, rears have to go in the rear). They have different backspacings on them, and the rears will rub when put on the front!

16x8 Wheels marked front & rear and the biggest tires are 245/50/16 or 255/50/16.

whats the difference in the backspacing?? thats the offset right?

IIRC, the front is 0 offset, the rear a positive 16 mm. Yes.

I have a set of replica Vette wheels on my 89. They are 17X8.5 and have a +26mm offset and bolt up with no spacers.
