Ideal tire size and spacers for 18" C5 Z06 wheels?

I have a 91 Z with a 4thgen 9" rear. I need to put as wide a tire in the back as I can on a 9.5" or 10.5" rim without doing any fender mods or the tires sticking our past the fender and looking odd.

I also need to know what the ideal spacer size would be for the front (based on a search, it seems 2" is the way to go) and with Skulte not making them anymore, where can I get a good set for the front without paying $200+ from Hawk's?

I have seen a few on ebay that seem legit but wanted your guys opinion.

I was thinking 285/35/18 for the back and 255/35/18 in the front.

Any pictures of a rear end view with different tire sizes would be much appreciated as well.

Thanks in advance...

Wow didnt know Skulte stopped making spacers...thats odd.

I dont who else makes good ones but 2" is probly what you want. If you had the backspacing and offset for the 10.5 C5 wheel I could tell for sure. 2-2.25" should do the trick tho. I ran 1.7 up front on my car and it clears. 2" is fine too.

But you will have no problems getting a 285 rear under the fender lip. I got 295/30/19 on mine and its just under the lip with plenty to spare on inner fender wheel.

Most of the ones on fleabay are cheap Chinese junk. Do not save a few bucks here. Losing a wheel at expressway speeds is just a little too much excitement.

I went with 295/35/18 on the back with 10.5" rims. had to cut off the bump stops for the rear end and beat the inner fender out a bit on each side. fits under the lip of the fender fine though.
