This a good price on Corvette wheels

Found these on craiglist.
CORVETTE WHEELS - C5 - $350
I have a set of 4 original equipment 5 spoke wheels off of a 2000 Corvette. They are in excellent condition and include the center caps and lug nut covers. No cracks, dents or curb rash. Buyer is responsible for shipping costs or pick-up. They are priced to sell.

Just wondering what you guys think about $350 for used corvette rims. I could proly get the guy down $50 or so. what do you guys think good deal or not? i still gonna have to get spacers for them also.

Re: This a good price on Corvette wheels

I have seen them for $250 quite often without tires... In my area, they sell for $350-400 with good tires. I would hold off.

but are those OE, or are those aftermarket reproduction? because the OE vette wheels are much better and tend to go for around $500 from what i have experienced

Re: This a good price on Corvette wheels

For that price plus the cost of spacers, you can find good wheels that fit correctly & don't require spacers.

That was what i was thinking spacers aren't usually cheap. Any recomendations on direct fit wheels for a good price?

Being such a "cosmetic" thing, that is purely a personal preference thing.

Look up BMWs for more options. The lug pattern is almost the same, close enough to fit & WAY more choices.

Re: This a good price on Corvette wheels

I've seen others on here running BMW wheels, i like them alot too. But i have yet to find them under a grand used. IMO that is pretty outrageous. But i'm sure if i wait for a while i can find them alot cheaper. BTW do you know if the BMW X5 wheels will fit also, i ask becuase they are the SUV's but i like the big five spoke wheels they come with.

Google search shows they are a 5x120, like the other BMWs, so I think the lug pattern would fit, but it apears they have a FWD-style offset, like the Vette wheels.

Other BMW wheels have an offset/backspacing that will fit though, without adapters.
