according to the site yes. +2mm would barely slide them closer (2mm) to the fender, if i am thinking correctly.

I don't have them, but I want them very much bad. I am planning on getting them, but I haven't decided on a color yet...gray or black. And I want to do wider in the rear.

Re: anyone have the Boss wheels on their 3rd gen?

the more i look at them i wonder how they will look on a 3rd gen.

thinking maybe a straight spoke would match the lines better.

anyone have pics of 18" TT II on a Z28? I guess that would be the closest comparison, even though they are rounder spokes.

Re: anyone have the Boss wheels on their 3rd gen?

They look killer on a Trans Am, last cruise in this year a guy had some on a Metallic Blue Trans Am. He was running a staggered set 18x8 front with +2mm offset 4.5" backspacing and 18x9.5 rear with -4mm offset 5" backspacing, no spacers needed.

Check them out here for the best deal:

Re: anyone have the Boss wheels on their 3rd gen?

awesome link, thanks for the reply. def glad you saw the staggered ones.

wonder if they would look as good on a 91 Z28? It is a metallic blue rag top. just worry they are too rounded for the boxy car.

Also, they are 35 lbs each. But that is prolly fair game for 18's if you dont spend mega bucks.

Re: anyone have the Boss wheels on their 3rd gen?

I just bit the bullet and bought a staggered set, I will post up pics this spring when I put them on the car. Each wheel weighs 27lbs. according to my calibrated scale, not too bad, I think 35 is probably the shipping weight.

I like those wheels, and my car happens to be in the body shop getting painted pepper metallic gray - so I'm thinking about maybe getting the gray wheels.

What I don't understand - why did you have to roll the quarters even though you could have went with a wider tire in the back??

Do you have the staggered size set of rims that TransAM Joe just ordered with the same offset/backset?

Re: anyone have the Boss wheels on their 3rd gen?

i rolled because i plan on going as wide as possible on the tires when the rubber wears out. and in the future if i decide to go wider rims or lowering the car, i have that option. the time was right so why not roll the quarters when your not worried about messing up the paint. its all pre planing for things i want to do. and yes i believe it have the same stagered set. BOSS dont' offer much for options when it comes to back spacing.
