Are "Hoosier" tires a good brand?

Hey guys, I got a steal of a deal on my wheels yesterday...Camaro (not sure year) rims with tires allready on them... But the tires seem to be drawing a lot of attention in my neighbourhood

Has anyone heard of this "hoosier" company? Are they good? The tires have tons of thread left on them like they were barely used. They drive fine (I don't drag, just use the car as my daily driver)

It's all a matter of perrsonal preference. Hoosiers are a top brand name. I run them.

they are great race tires, i wouldn't run them on the street as they will wear out very very quickly

Re: Are "Hoosier" tires a good brand?

most hoosiers are race tires, not a good choice int he street, they dont work well in the rain, and dont last long.

but do you even know what kind of tire they are and what size?

Re: Are "Hoosier" tires a good brand?

those inparticular are just a regular street tire. i think they've been discontinued. rock 'em, you'll like 'em. when you're ready to "drag" make sure you pick up a set of their Drag Radials or full slicks and get ready to swallow your tonque from the awesome traction that will ensue
