What I'm goin to do for now is weight till after I get it painted to see how the black on my stocks even looks with the two tone colors I'm doin, black on top and atomic orange on the bottom, then go from there. I'll prbly just keep my stocks until after I get the rest of the car finished, interior/rearend. But ik I'm def gunna put some 295s on it while I'm waiting to pick out the rims I really want. I love the price of these, quality made with the cragar name too. But I love how your car looks Tony, it made me want to just paint my car complelty black like what I was gunna do before. Lol
Thats good that my ride inspires some people or so even though theres not much too it but what the heck why not. My buddy has the stock camaro rims painted heres some pics:

You cant just throw a 15x10 on your car. 15x10 and the tire size is a big factor on how much your gonna need to cut and fab the wheel well to make the fit. Depending on your tire size most 15x10 with a 6.5 backspacing the tire is flush with the fender lip or inside.

Re: Cragars?

Thats all they supply for these wheels, 15x10 4" back spacing, thats it, theres nothing else. SO if i went with these wheels, what would be the spacer I'd want then? or would I not need one? I might need this explained to me again. These are the only 15x10 they supply, thats what i'll have to go with..

btw this will be front wheels: http://www.jegs.com/i/Cragar/260/342...oductId=751048

Your earlier post said I need a 15x10 with 5.5" backspacing, so then does that mean i need a 1.5"? since it comes as 4".

I wish i had a good picture to display what my idea is of what i want..

If thats all they supply then your asked out or SOL. There's no need for a spacer with a 15x10 with 4" of backspacing it would make the rim stick farther out of the wheel well. You need a 15x10 with 6.5" of backspacing which puts the rim in the wheel wheel farther because the rim is 10" wide.

The min. you need is a 5.5 backspacing with a 15x10 rim. The best fit with the option of running a bigger tire is the 15x10 with a 6.5 backspacing.

If thats what I need, then isn't that what spacers are for? To add tot he backspacing?...

No. I will put it to you like this. If you needed a spacer it would take out backspacing. So if you have 6.5" of backspacing and you need a 1/2" or .500 of clearance from the wheel well then you would get a 1/2" spacer to move the wheel out or ultimately giving you 6" of backspacing.

5.5 backspacing will work but in my eyes and others on the board sticks out to far from the fender lip with big tires. 6.5 backspacing is what gets the rims inside the fender lip and tucks the rim and tire inside the wheel well. But if you go this route you need to modify the wheel well a little or alot depending on what tire size you go with.

Re: Cragars?

Do a search on both backspacings and see which you like more then

Pick from one of these depending on your backspacing choice

15x10 rims with 5.5 backspacing
http://www.summitracing.com/search/D.../?Ns=Price|Asc

15x10 rims with 6.5 backspacing

Re: Cragars?

I honestly don't like the look of any of those... I think i'll just do the 15x7 all around and see what happens... I just wanted a wider tire in the back to have stagger look and more tire on the ground.. thank you for all your help!

they are 15x7 stock for rs wheels, correct?

If you don't want them to stick out 5.5 or 6 in would be good
