HI I LIVE IN THE UK.I OWN A 3RD GEN WITH STOCK 15" RIMS THE TIRES CURRENTLY ARE 215/65/15. I WOULD LIKE WIDER ON THE REAR WHAT PROFILE SHOULD BE ON THESE STOCK RIMS IS 65 RIGHT? HOW WIDE CAN I GO WITHOUT FOWLING ISSUES. NOT MANY TIRES IN UK 65 PROFILE USUALLY 60 PROFILE ON 15" TIRES.ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED. THANKS MICK.
With wider tires the aspect ratio goes down so you retain similar diameter. 60 and 65 are seriously tall sidewalls. Better start looking at 245/50s or thereabouts
A set of 275/50/15's are a little shorter than stock height, and 275/60/15's are about 2" taller than stock. Both tires are something like 2.25" wider than stock and will fit just fine.
Hi,i can get 265/50/15 size no problem they are cobra gt tyres should be ok? Thanks Mick. Coming over to New York in May do you think tires count as hand luggage haha.
