245s on 8" wheels is normal on the front. 275s on 9.5" wheels can be done, but you have to get the offset just right to avoid rubbing.
295s need at least 9.5" if not 10.5"... before you have to roll the lip and hammer the inner surface.
This has been covered to death, and a search will find plenty of information on wheel sizes and offset.

Re: WIDEST WHEELS AND TIRES FRONT AND REAR WITHOUT SPACERS?
widest wheel with no spacer will be a 17x 9.5 by CTW Motorsports direct bolt on and can fit brembo brakes in them
i wouldn't run a 8" wide tire unless its stock rim IE 17" x 8 or 18" by 8 just seems your loosing handling performance unless your strictly want rims for looks
a 9.5 wheel all around will greatly improve handling on a thirdgen and good overall balance
can run a 10 or 10.5" with very little work at most rolling the lip but direct bolt on your going to have to go with a wheel from like ccw, fiske etc and thats more $$$
there are very very few direct bolt on wide wheels
also you can get 4th gen rear run corvette spec 10.5" wheels in rear and front get 2" adapter unless your running a big brake kit which you can run a 1.75" or 1.50" adapter
theres alot of threads but finding direct bolt on is going to cost you but CTW wheels are a very good price

Re: WIDEST WHEELS AND TIRES FRONT AND REAR WITHOUT SPACERS?
that's easy as long width stays true to 4th gen or 3rd gen specs so technically speaking nothing really changes , only thing that changes is strength swapping to a stronger axle

Re: WIDEST WHEELS AND TIRES FRONT AND REAR WITHOUT SPACERS?
While you can go wider than 9.5" all around (would have to be 18" or larger), you run into the issue of spacers, costs, or in some cases, heavy modifications.
CTW Motorsports is my company, and yes we make a 20lb 17" x 9.5" wheel that will fit with no spacers and still clear 14" brake kits.
I have personally seen 10.5" wheels all around, 9.5"F/11"R and all sorts of other combinations, but you run into the spacer and/or cost constraint. A set of 3pc forged 18" x 10.5" wheels is going to run about $4k a set, where our wheels are a tad above $1k for a set in 17" x 9.5".

Re: WIDEST WHEELS AND TIRES FRONT AND REAR WITHOUT SPACERS?
ones in sig xxr 521 18x10 +25 but since then they came out with a +12 which be a perfect fit and no need for adapter in rear and use small slip on front IIRC if you have BBK then wouldnt need anything in front
but with the +25 offset i used 1.25" F and 1" R adapter you can use no adapter on rear or small slip on but its up to you on the tuckage u want
tire size was 285 all around with room for 295

Re: WIDEST WHEELS AND TIRES FRONT AND REAR WITHOUT SPACERS?
using sportlines with rear insulator removed to reduce the rake it created to make for a more even stance, im now running intrax but will be investing in ground control setup after i get back from afgn. been lagging on my build big time but i work for uncle sam so he usally wins majority of my free time lol
both 12 and +25 are same lip size im considering going back to that setup myself since the +12 offset came out been alittle lost on what wheels to settle with
yea no worry shoot me a PM or post on my thread more than welcome to help you
