I know that you can use the 3 point STBs for the tbi setup with a carb setup as well. My question is will the STB get in the way of my HEI distributor? I have the Hypertech cap and coil but I am thinking about switching to an MSD box w/ a separate coil.

am I going to have any problems with this?

If you are referring to the Edelbrock brace,you will have no issues with the distributor and clearance.I have one on my 82 with internal coil vacuum advance HEI and 6AL box(mounted under dash)with no problems.

the only problem that u will have is if u still have the ac pump then thinger on the belt. becuz i took my ac out becuz i noticed that if i get that it will be hittin the ac pump, so like the only problem u will have is the ac pump if u still have ac but if u dont its just a matter of lining things up and drillin. hope that helps a bit.
