TPIS Stand Alone Kits

I've been thinking about getting one of TPIS's standalone kits, the top-model one w/58mm throttle body, large tube runners, etc. Anybody have comments/experiences with them? My car is an 87 Firebird, which is currently stock carbed 305. Looking to go to tuned port 350. Price on the kit doesn't matter much, looking for functionality. Thanks!

Yeah, for 3790, you can buy a pretty decent Brand New crate motor AND still do EFI, man. Just buy new/used EFI parts wisely.

Car: '88 Formula
Engine: 350 TPI
Transmission: T-5... in need of slight rebuild
Right now I am in the begining of the same project, except I am using a stock TPI from an '86 TA. Granted I will slowly upgrade, but for that money it won't suit your 305, I have a 350 and that 58mm TB is too big for me. Also how do you plan on tackling the wire harness to retain all of the stock emissions... if you plan on that at all? Another thing to consider is the instrument panel... some of the guages are fed by the computer from what I understand anyway. Fortunately I have a donor car to use all of the wire harnesses but it will still be a chore.

14.73 @ 95... traction still a problem
