MSD Digital 6 or MSD 6AL?

This is what I emailed to MSD Tech:

I cannot decide whether I should get the MSD Digital 6 or MSD 6AL ignition
for my engine. I have a 1991 Camaro Z28 with a nice L98 TPI engine mated to a World Class T5 5-speed. The current mods can be seen on my website here: http://www.socal-fbodies.org/members/kevinl2.html
I recently missed a shift at the track, and over-revved the engine, hitting
the rev-limiter in my PROM at 6500 RPMs. I broke several valve springs in
the process. I am rebuilding it now, adding an LT4 HOT cam, SLP 1 3/4"
headers, and TPIS intake manifold and runners. This car is my daily
driver, and sees 1/4 mile drag racing about once a month, and canyon carving thru the hills about twice a year.
Which ignition box would you recommend for my setup? I like the features of
the new Digital ignition, plus it has two rev-limits. I could use the
second one for launching at the starting line. But is it overkill for me?
Would I be fine with a 6AL? In either case, I will use the MSD Blaster
Coil as well.
Anyone have an opinion for me?

Considering that the Digital 6 is about $110 more, unless you actually need the second rev limiter or retard functions, i'd say just stick with the 6AL.

Not familiar with the digial ignition but if you have the extra cash to blow get it.

I have the MSD6AL and love it. Heres a little tip. Buy the shftnnoid adjustable rpm limiter from JEGS for $20. Its adjustablefrom 0-12000 RPMs. I hate JEGs, but thats where i got it from.
