painting cylinder heads...

i see some people leave their aluminum heads the natural silvery color. can you paint them orange to match the block, or is there a reason that people dont paint them?

You can paint them, but one of the reasons yu run aluminum heads is because they disapate the heat better than steel. Thats why you can run a bit higher compression with aluminum heads. When you paint them, you lose part of that disapation.
