"The effect of the gas pills allows to diminish the combustion point increasing the concrete characteristics of evaporation that all fuels have at normal pressure and temperature. This is why we obtain a FLASH POINT at a lower temperature, increasing the amount of burning gases. "

I read this as lowering the octane rating thus increasing detonation risk for those of us who are highly modded. The higher the octane rating the higher the resistance to detonation, and the SLOWER the A/F mixture burns, and vise versa.

Actually higher octane gasses burn cooler, and slower, I guess in theory they might burn more completely as well as a fast burn might extinguish before all of the potential energy is used.

I have spoken to people that swear by this thing, I have yet to use it. One person Claimed a 4 mpg increase... I would be afraid of it damaging my injectors/Filter/spark plugs etc...

is what i said, which means the same to me as your stating
Actually higher octane gasses burn cooler, and slower
So i am confused by your correcting me, it sounds like you are saying the same thing? unless i am missing something?

If thats what your saying then I was just confirming you...

When I read your statement I was confused, you quoted them stating that it lowers the flashpoint, but you were worried about detonation which happens at a higher flashpoint. If there lowering the "Flash point temperatures" then they have to be increasing the octane levels to do so.

Of course I have heard of people putting Moth ***** in the gas to do the same thing. Sounds a little too hocus pokus...

Yes it is a "Multi - Level marketing scheme" like Fortune, Excel, Amway etc. I see nothing wrong with them if you can use the items, but not to make money off othes backs. Usually a ploy to give dreams of getting rich quick. Money can be made however...

If you think that the pill thing is bad, you should come down to Florida(where all the crazies live!) Some guy at my local 1/8 mile track in Clearwater, FL (Sunshine Speedway) was walking around with two square magnetic plates that were about 4in by 4in. He proceeds to tell me that everything in the universe is affected by magnetic forces, and that by installing these magnets in my car I can expect a 25% output power gain and better fuel ecomony. OK So for shizits and giggles I ask him how. He responds by saying that the molecular structure of the fuel flowing through the lines causes some type of magnetic resistance that makes it harder for the engine to get fuel. The magnet is supposed to help undisrupt the fuel flow. Once again . Then he tells me that the magnets cost around $450. Holy crap! When I asked him why so much, he responded by saying that the materials used in theses particular magnets were from foreign ie. extra terrestial meteorites and that these magnets are on the leading edge of new technology. This guys was f'ing

Somebody get some and thry them and let me know. Chemically,They can do things beyond our wildest dreams and imigination, but unfortunately more often than not--if it seems to good to be true--it probably is!

When I hear it from a reputable source that they are junk--I;ll believe it--until then, I'll reserve making any judgements or comments or dragging it thru the gutter like the other modern wonder inventions (like the tornado)

Looks like it is 'lights out' for the gas pill in Texas.

Texas Attorney General

Suckers!!!!!!!
My neighbor was trying to get me to buy into this about 2 months ago. Some people just never learn. Did anybody notice that the Bio-Performance web site mentioned above doesn't work?

octane ratinging shouldn't effect the burn rate of the fuel. also with slow burning fuels generally the more prone to detonation you have and with a slower burning fuel it generally has more wasted energy as it is either being burned out the exhuast or being burned at a point where it is too late to effectivly put energy into the crank.

lower flash point means more prone to detonation. when the flash piont is lower it is more able to combust by means other then just spark.

with moth ***** it worked once upon a time when gas was shiz and mothballs where something other then what they are now.
