I have looked around for factory style replacement Firebird (not TA) ground effects thinking that someone probably offers aftermarket copies. I haven't been able to find anything even close. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

Your best bet is to go to copartfinder.com and just look for 91-92 birds with the ground effects. Don't forget you need the front and rear bumper covers too!

IS there a difference between Th fbird and T/A GFX?
the only one I see is the gills on the side?

There arent any differences in the TA and regular firebird ground effects. Very few firebirds rolled off the line without the sport appearance package. The only diff is the rear wing. I was assuming Johnny is looking for the 91-92 GFX. But if not give me an email. I will be taking my 88 GTA effects off soon to put 91-92 gfx on.

Scooter has it right. The 1992 Firebird I bought my daughter is a base Firebird with factory ground effects. I was needing a couple of pieces and couldn't find them anywhere other than the dealer. I ended up molding a fiberglass replica and painting it. Turned out pretty darn good, if I say so myself! I never had realized until then no one makes aftermarket pieces. I wouldn't think I am the only one who has ran into this problem.

I have a thirdgen accesories book and shows a cool ground kit for 91-92 year from Pacific Auto Accesories. I dont know if they still have them but might be worth a shot. No address listed in book
