Anyone had any luck with this coil/spring set?
Its an edlebrock set and my stuff wearing out so i figured a set of these would be cool if they were worth the cash

If anyone HAS used them, any tire rub or clearance issues i should know about?

just go with summit racing and save a few dollars at one of the world's most reputable online performance shop..
dont believe you should have any tire rubbing issues.. ground clearance is cut down so beware!! if wheel hop occurs, get lower control arm relocation brackets from spohn, bmr, or any other reputable suspension companies.

Do you want to lower your car?
If not then buy the Moog Replacements at Spohns, good springs and about half the cost.
If you read the note it says they are Eibach, which lots of folks here have used.

front springs and rear springs are VERY different...front springs have like 5 times the spring rate as the rears. Changing them is also very different. The rear springs are easy, they almost fall out by themselves. Changing the front requires special tools, and the right procedure or you can hurt yourself and/or your car since they are under a LOT of tension.

The springs you linked to there look like way overpriced Eibach Sportlines.
The pro-kit is 1" all the way around, while the sportlines are significantly more drop. People with the sportlines say, that the rear springs are too soft, and you can be hitting the bumpstops alot. Those springs are more of a "lowrider" type product, where as the pro-kit is more of a performance handling upgrade.
Another thing to consider, is that the sportlines will require a good, and pretty expensive, shock / strut combo like koni's or bilsteins. However, if you got stock replacement moogs, or even the pro-kit, people report pretty good luck with some cheaper shocks like KYB products.

hm so i should pretty much just bite the bit and get the pros? I just want a good set of springs that'll drop the car a bit, i was gonna look into eibachs but these ones were shown to me and i figured id ask. Any suggestion on shocks? Good but not gonna break the bank type? I'm looking for better than oem quality i dont need high performance ones (yet)

IIRC IROC springs are already a 1" drop from stock. Also don't be surprised if you but new springs on, even drops, and it actually sits HIGHER. If you still have the original springs in the car they are likely worn and sagging.
When I replaced the original springs on my IROC with the Moog replacement ones (big ride difference), the car sat about 3/4" - 1" higher. WHich in my perspective was great, since I could finally get a jack under the k member. The car looks really good, very aggressive at the stock IROC height. Plus it handles great (except for parking lots....)
Also its not a bad idea since you are already gonna have to take half the suspension apart to replace springs anyway, to go ahead and replace bushings and ball joints, tie rod ends, idler arm, drag link in the front and bushings in the rear.

ha ha yeah it really wouldnt suprise me, probably just confuse me more. The look is just a bonus to getting a stiffer suspension, its way too loose so i figured new springs and shocks would be good about now

If you want to go the whole suspension replacement. Spohns sells a kit with all the front end rebuild parts for a good price. Not sure if I would go poly on all the bushings in a street car, I went with rubber on mine and its all good. But I do remember having an awful time trying to get the right a arm bushings locally, each a arm had 2 different size bushings.
