More super ram questions.

I just found a guy who has a used Accel/LPE super ram intake setup. He says that it is about two years old and has about 15,000 miles on it. He says that he went two a miniram and has just had it sitting there in his garage for two years. He says that it came from LPE and has already been ported and each piece port matched to the others. He wants $700 for the whole setup and says that the only thing left to do to them is to port match them to my heads. Is this a good deal. Will stock 22lbs per hour injectors give this induction setup the juice it needs?
What cam should I go with. This is a daily driver and for now has to use my stock 305, 5spd chip. I can't afford to do everything at once you know. I'm shooting for 375hp and 400-410 ft lbs at the flywheel. Am I on target.

I would offer him a little less than $700. I paid $750 for my setup new, but it wasn't port matched. As far as a cam I would call Comp and talk to them about their Compucam line.

A superram is a little too big for a 305. you would not be buying yourself much. The superram was designed for the big-inch motors 350 and above. If you have no plans to build a bigger motor I would just get a set of big runners (TPIS or Arizona Speed & Marine) and port the base. A superram is a bit of a waste on a 305.

Superram for a 305? way to big. probably hurt performance. I have a brand new superram still in the box. 675

Im guessing that price includes the intake, plenum and runners. At that price its a good deal. If you guys are getting the whole setup for unde $700 your getting a steal.

The intake is going on the 350 I am having built to replace the 305. Yes the setup includes the lower intake the plennum and runners. It was bought through LPE(lingenfelter) and all the port work was done by them. Each piece has been port matched to the other. The plennum and runner kit from Lingenfelter is 499 and the lower intake is around 600(not sure on the exact price.)

Rob.. that is a good deal with the intake included. I would go with the LPE 219 cam if you are using a roller block. Or the LPE 213 if you are going with a flat tappet cam. After all the are designed for that induction system that takes some of the guess work out of it.
