SLP siamese runners...will i lose low end?

I have a 92 formula 305 TPI 5speed with 3:73s,slp air foil,slp catback,G92,MSD6AL...
I ran a 14.3on gtechpro. I want to get SLP runners but i heard i'd lose my low end torque (0-60). Is this true? Anyone who has them who could tell me? thanks

Car: 1990 Pontiac Trans Am
Engine: 355 TPI siamesed runners
Transmission: Tremec T56
Axle/Gears: 12-Bolt 3.73
The SLP runners dont work very well with the stock cam, from what I hear.

I'm moving this to the aftermarket board.

don't waste your time with them. port all your intake pieces worth more...and get a cam if you have the $ to spare

with a 305 you shouldnt mess with any of the intake components,, except porting your plenum.. the bigger runners will only hurt you ,, especially slp runners.

listen to ron , you'll get more in return just off the porting the plenum and base , cleaning up the heads will make diff. too, thats what i did with my GTA when i still had 305 in it, i also put an slp cam in it too, it had power all the way to 5500 and never really felt like it was going to drop off either. i still have the cam , actually i have the whole motor sitting in my garage, all htough i never took it to track, i could stay 2 cars ahead of a (new at the time) 97 formula, dead even even with a buddys '65 ranchero 302 5m fixed up, that ran 13.8's and a 1/2 car behind my girlfriends mom's 98 LS-1 T/A... also my GTA weighs 3490(glass hood, no ac,alum. impact bar, yada, yada) my friend jon had his 91 Z28, 5spd, 3.55's, slp cam, headers, chip, and it was runing a best 13.50 !

thanks for all the responses guys. I was thinking of a cam swap. What duration and lift do you recommend for a speed density 305 TPI with the G92 package? P.s. i have 3:73s right now.

Kevin91z, how did you get 13.2?!? Thats incredible. Please list your mods.
thanks

L98 heads, ZZ4 cam, SLP 1 5/8" headers, ported stock intake, and 3" cat-back and flowmaster exhaust, along with suspension mods and drag radials. If I could ever hit a 1.8 60', I'm told I could hit 12's.
