first I must say this book does have some decent info in it. BUT (and that's a big BUT) it is rare and fare between unless you know nothing about engines at all and like re-reading the same material reworded several times through the book. first off it constantly talks about LT1's and LS1's like they are TPI engines but also says the only one that technically is tpi is the actual tpi. then it speaks about tbi as well causing confusion in itself on what a TPI engine really is. i'd say there are about 3 paragraphs in each chapter worth of reading material the rest is just regurgitation of something that was already written earlier in the book. If you have no idea how an engine works or any performance engine theory it might be informative but most of what he said can be found in any issue of hot rod, CHP, GM high tech, or pretty much any other magazine. THey make more sense too.(sometimes they even have less typos)
