Did I read right that you are trying to get him to refund the money you paid to get the headliner(s) covered too?

Re: Fiberglass Headliner - Marks Custom kits
just cost of material as i covered it(only one) myself...it appeared as though it was going to fit fine till i put it all together after i covered it
sucks that stuff wasnt exactly cheap...was more or less just trying to get something back for the trouble and time i spent on a crap part

Re: Fiberglass Headliner - Marks Custom kits
Well not that I am trying to argue that this guy does good work. Quite the opposite. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone or buy anything from him myself reading this.
But you said it yourself in your first post:
You can't really expect him to refund the cost of your custom work. He offered to refund the parts and pay return shipping. Sure he didn't offer to refund the shipping you paid to get them sent to you, but if you look around and order remotely (like I do a lot of), this is pretty normal. It sucks I know since it was so much, but it is the risk of getting things shipped to you.
I hope things work out for you though. I read this whole thread since I don't even have a headliner and have been wanting to try either the ABS or even this route. Sounds like I'm going to wait some more.

Re: Fiberglass Headliner - Marks Custom kits
true i didnt expect it really but had to try as i am out a good amount of money...and he only offered to pay shipping back after i argued with him for two days. i told him the only way i was paying to ship them back is if i broke them in half and shipped them in a smaller box so he sent me a lable
lol i hope so too im looking again as well....youd think a part as simple as a headliner would be a bit easier to get
most places will either send you a part that fits or return the full amount spent(shipping included)
however if you just dont like it or you change your mind you usually wont get shipping back in your refund and will get charged restock fee
everywhere is different

Wouldn't help... It's not as tight as the pic makes it look.

Sorry to hear so many issues with the glass ones. So many shoddy parts being sold these days.
