Re: AC Delco
Almost all that stuff is made in China, Indonesia, or some where in Southeast Asia. Hardly anything like that is made in the USA anymore.

Re: AC Delco
Almost everything is made in "insert obscure 3rd world country that uses child labor here" these days.
The thing is when you get an AC Delco vs a Duralast, Murrays, ETC. The quality control is better so you are generally getting a better part.

Re: AC Delco
I bought fan, MAF and fuel pump relays...Came in a AC Delco box, but stamped right on them "Made in China"...That's just what I want when I lift the hood and read "Made in China"....Sucks...

The unfortunate fact of the matter is, very little is made in the US of A these days and we are far from the industrial magnate that we used to be....and people wonder why our economy is floundering. We send our resources to another country so we can pay them to manufacture things for us.

Re: AC Delco
I bought a Delco fuel pump recently.O.E.M. specs are 65 psi.Once I finished getting the job done and the tank back on I found that the Delco pump was rated for only 50 psi.Call Delco tech and they told it didn't matter that the volume was all that matter.Sure sounded like they cross ref'ed it to another pump to save money.Yet the Delphi pumps are still rated at the O.E.M. specs. Not wanting to drop the tank again,I let it go.But I was sure disappointing.Yeah, that is the last Delco FP I'll ever buy.

Re: AC Delco
I just recently bought a set of AC Delco door locks for my TA. They were made in Mexico. They were supposed to be black and they were green. They must have scratched them up during the manufacturing process and used black to touch them up. They looked like crap. Needless to say, I returned them.
