PRW Water Pumps
Has anyone ever heard of these? I was thinking about buying the Edelbrock 8881 for the L98 Corvette engine swap into my 1992 Formula 350 and need a different water pump. The ad reads
"Chevy SBC 1987-95 High Performance Aluminum Water Pump As-cast 8881"
It is a 6.9735 block to hub
5/8 pilot shaft
Serpentine Belt Reverse Rotation
Now I know it is probably made in china but my question is whether or not it is a good pump or should I just spring for the extra hundred bucks and buy the Edelbrock?
Thanks for the help.
Here's the pump.

Re: PRW Water Pumps
Is a delco pump Aluminum?
My guess is he is trying to shave weight.
I never used one so I cant help but an electric one will save you a few horse power and make up for the weight that one will save.
Unless your road racing then you want an Aluminum one. LOL

Re: PRW Water Pumps
PRW stuff is garbage. I bought some roller tip rockers made by them. They lended up being Chinese junk with 4 out of the 16 breaking with most of the rest developing stress cracks. I would stay away from their products.
