This part was sold to me on eBay, listed condition as "NEW", "New: A brand-new, unused, unopened, undamaged item in its original packaging (where packaging is applicable). Packaging should be the same as what is found in a retail store, unless the item was packaged by the manufacturer in non-retail packaging, such as an unprinted box or plastic bag.

Yes, that is a CRACK under drain plug that radiates around to bolt hole.

So tell me your opinions of this defective poorly repaired part being sold as a "NEW" part.

i did, he said they are all like this, made that way, bu that is BS because i've bought these for my other cars from other sellers and never got a defective, welded , repaired or cracked one. He also charges a 20% restocking fee. Very rude guy.

I've never seen ANY part this bad and seller is terrible, rude, abrasive and threatening. The seller is Eric Swanson of Rebel Performance 5171 Trott Circle, North Port, Florida 34287,
I just found out, He got so nasty about me wanting to return this defective item that he called my local code enforcement and filed a false report claiming i am running a car repair business from my home where the part was delivered! I bring my parts to the shop where i work to install them, not at my house! What type of person does crazy evil stuff like that??

I would guess he buys the blems fixes them and sells them on ebay. Talk to the BBB.

I just searched his ebay store and scanned through negative comments posted by other buyers, he appears to be a *******. One guy stated he returned an item got full amount returned back but then tripled the price of the item cause it was his last one till new shipment. But he is basically a third party seller.

sure appears to be defective and no good.
it should not be a problem to return it if he was a good seller.

I always use it on higher priced items.

If you know what company made the part, why not try dealing with them directly?

yeah he's quite a piece of work.
too lazy and cheap of a guy to do the repairs,
i suspect he has a deal to buy various blemished, damaged and defective poorly repaired parts very cheap, then ripoffs people on eBay.

eBay refunded my $.

the BBB closed the case, as "refunded" but has no listing for refunded by eBay.

the company who makes it is unknown.
