Read about this online last week. GM-Authorized. I was going to post about it, but since it's not 3rdgen-related, I figured it would be locked or deleted.
Customer walks into his Chevy dealer, with 6-figures in cash, and he places his order. Once his 2016 Camaro is built, it's shipped to TAW, where it is converted into a Trans Am or GTO. Once completed, it's shipped to the dealer from where it was ordered, and the customer picks-up his new Trans Am or GTO.
If I were eccentric enough and had $100,000-$150,000 of disposable worth, yes, I would do it. Awesome product!

I just think it's "great" that they're even doing something like this.
And picking the "Trans Am" is what makes it that way.

I would agree Ron. I don't see how they could really title it as anything else, when it leaves Lansing. Which is sort of disappointing. But if I had the cash, I'd still buy one.

They sure look a lot better than what they did when they came off the assembly line as a Camaro that's for sure!
