ACC Dove Gray Embroidered Floor Mats
Very satisfied with ACC's Dove Gray cut pile embroidered floor mats. $97.88 including shipping from Rock Auto. Ordered on Monday, arrived on Thursday.
They look darker in the pics than in real life / lighting. They might be a bit darker than the factory mats. They're the only gray offered by ACC in the base cut pile mats for '82-'92, so it is what it is. But there's 50 shades of gray in my interior anyway so they're a good match.
Fit is excellent, as is the embroidery. Good solid mats.

It is, Bob--only 34,800 miles on it. 31,000 when I got it 4 years ago; hasn't seen much foot traffic!
Wonder if the Dove Gray carpet produced today is slightly darker than the factory '89 I've got...?
There's a ridiculous amount of gray shades to choose from out there; Dove Gray seemed about the best match from what others have said on here. But it's all probably close enough.

Yeah my GTA is Factory Dove Gray so to speak....but after 28 years, it's definitely a lot lighter now. It was darker when I bought it new. I thought about just doing new carpet and mats

I'm curious about the fading--has yours seen a lot of sunlight? I had a '90 Formula that I bought new and was my only driver for many years. Sold it about 10 years ago but I don't remember if the carpet had faded...

Mine has been garage kept. This whole time. But...it was my DD for the first 12 years so it sat outside at work, in the California Mojave Desert for 10 hous a day. Windows were tinted. I had my seats out before and the carpet under them look like YOUR new mats....so...IDK

Richard, yes--here's a link to Rock Auto. Go into the choices and you can scroll through colors and logos. There are both Formula & Trans Am. I went with Rock because they had the best pricing, and as always fast shipping.
