Recent Part Purchase.
Hey if anyone could help me out that would be awesome. I'm doing a marketing research study for school and doing it on car part purchases and brands. survey of 5 simple questions on your last purchase.
Pease answer in a couple sentences.
What car part did you purchase most recently and for what type of car?
Was it a replacement of a non-working part or an upgrade?
Where did you purchase the part? Online or in store (what company) and why?
What brand did you go with? Generic store brand or a specific company and why that brand?
What were your considerations on price, how much did you pay and were you satisfied with you purchase?

Re: Recent Part Purchase.
1- drum brake shoes
2- upgrade
3-amazon, I was ordering other items there and it was easier to stay on one site
4- power stop, I plan on going with all power stop brake components due to them being both better than stock and not super expensive (I know they are not brembo, baer, wildwood, ls1 or c5 but my car is not a racecar either)
5-drum brake shoes are fairly cheap, so I didn't really consider price, I think they were around $20-$25 for the set? and as for satisfaction, not sure yet, they are currently still in the box

Re: Recent Part Purchase.
1. Water pump
2. Non-working
3. Ended up with parts store only because they price matched from online. 130 in store 80 online.
4. I want to say ac Delco as it was what was pricematched
5 80. Very satisfied since they apparently don't price match for most people. But 130 for a stock ls water pump is just nuts.

2. Replacement parts.
3. Purchased online. No local parts stores carry the brand I was looking for.
4. Brand: Akibono - Ceramic (OEM replacement); Supposedly, Aikibono is the OEM supplier.
5. Price was not a consideration.
Price paid: $37 (front), $44 (rear) plus what ever shipping was charged.
Satisfied? Yes.
