Radiators

I am going to replace my radiatior, so I was wondering if you could give me some brands and prices. I want an aluminum radiatior, if you have websites, could you list those as well.

Be cools are about the best money can buy,but they are expensive.I think they go for about $500-$550.Griffin and Howe also make good radiators.

The Griffin 31"x19" NASCAR GM universal radiator is somewhere around $190. You might have to do some minor mods (Aftermarket tranny cooler, adapting that 3/4" heater hose to go somewhere else, minor trimming...) But 2 rows of 1" tubes in an aluminum radiator for less than $200 kicks a?? and an aftermarket tranny cooler is a better idea anyway.

I got mine from CarQuest. It is made by Milodon, cost $180. Just like original except it is an aluminum core. They had to special order it.

Like the above post said, the Griffin is a nice piece but definately NOT a bolt in part. There is a lot of modification that has to be done.

BeCool on the other hand DOES just drop right in. I actually returned my Griffin to by a BeCool.

I used the Griffin also, but I got the one with the 2 rows of 1-1/4" tubes. I also had them install a tranny cooler(I still use an external tranny cooler too). It cost me $333 and it fit pretty good. About all I had to modify was the bottom tray that the radiator sits in.
I had carpartsonsale.com order it for me.

IMO, anyone that spends $500+ on a radiator is on crack...Be Cool, not broke!

I bought a brand new AC Delco factory replacement 350 radiator for $200 delivered to my door.
