door and window seals from 1A Auto

Have a set of seals from 1A Auto and was not too happy with them. First was the triangle piece, received two right sides. I did only talked over the phone once regarding the piece, they never followed up with me to get the missing left side sent to me. The bigger issue I have is with the door seals. They are separating at the seams. One set was installed for a year before starting to separate, while for the other side it came apart while handling the seal prior to even installing it. I was installing second side almost a year after purchase so have the seams currently glues with super glue. Will see how that holds up. The actual fit was ok, just wish the seams were bonded well and that the seals were softer. This is on a hardtop 89 TA.

On the plus side, right away I was not happy with the door seals for the square body and they did not even asked for them back, just refunded the cost right away.

These are the ones I used.

They are made by Fairchild and have lasted 5 years so far. The ones you purchased are backed by a lifetime warranty. Give them a call.

Door seals by OER are junk. The molded ends are blobs of foam.

Next time I buy weatherstrip, I'm using Steele Rubber. They supplied excellent door seals for my 88 Lincoln Mark VII and have been in business approx. 60 years.
