Stainless brake and fuel lines?

Hi,

I'm interested in the stainless brake line and fuel line kit from thirdgenranch. Is the pre-bend done well? Do the kits fit properly? Any experience?

Thanks!

Thank you, that's just the kit I wanted to buy. So I'll order it when the next paycheck arrives.

Thanks!

Re: Stainless brake and fuel lines?

Just an fyi of you do the stainless brake line. If you want to avoid ruining your paint in the engine bay, get a new master cylinder. Your factory steel lines are soft compared to stainless. There are grooves in the master made by the factory steel ones. Being they are soft they can bend and conform to it and seal up. Stainless does not. It will not seal against any irregularities in the hole.

Thank you for this information. New master is on it's way. What about the proportioning valve? I have to keep this...

Re: Stainless brake and fuel lines?

I'm in the process of doing fuel, brakes, and trans cooler lines in stainless steel. I got most of my lines from Inline Tubing and the trans cooler line for SS Tubes. All great products and matched up perfectly.
