Have a question on pods/gauges for the A- pillar

I have a 92' camaro and plan on ordering a set of autometer gauges and want to order a dual pod for the A pillar and want to get a set of 2 1/16 gauges. Now i know the electrical gauges are more accurate than the mechanical. But 178.00 dollars for the fuel pressure is ridiculous so is mechanical still beneficial i want to get fuel pressure and oil pressure are the mechanical gauges for these two beneficial and accurate thanks

Actually, mechanical should be more accurate than electrical. If you use an isolator, you should be fine.

You can't base accuracy on whether the gauge is mechanical or electrical. Electrical gauges can be designed and built to excacting tolerances. You can get electrical gauges that have well under ½% error at full scale. Hell, jet fighter instruments are electronic. you can also get mechanical gauges that are extremely accurate.
The bottem line is you will just pay more for a more accurate gauge whether it is mechanical or electric. Check the percent of error before you buy. Anything less than 5% tolerance should be fine.
don't forget to add the price of neccisary fittings, hose, and an isolater for mechanical gauges and the price of wire and seders for electrical gauges if they don't come with your gauges.
