yes, it's a waste to do any kind of upgrades on the block. Get rid of it all together and get something that you can upgrade when ever you want. I dropped an LS7 in my 89 Camaro RS because it had the same as you. Sorry little LO3.

If you want a 13 second lo3 there are going to be a few things that your going to have to consider like is the car going to be daily driven?track only? or a little of both?Tuning is the key to these vehicles and you'll never get there without it.For my self i'm a big advocate of weight reduction.start pulling some unneeded weight, believe me it makes a differance.

2 things..

If you think you'll like tuning an EFI system the TBI stuff has recently gotten popular thanks to alot of hard work by the prom forum hackers. I have a 91 TBI harness and TBI throttlebody for sale 170 shipped.

Sinceyou're local I'll offer this too...
If you don't mind having a slightly hard time passing emissions, I also have an L98 383 shortblock w/ LT4 cam and timing set installed.. and flexplate for sale. (yourT5 would need a custom 400-balanced flywheel) I ran a 12.79 on drag radials with an LTR setup. It's got like 700 miles on it and maybe 60 drag passes... it's in great shape.. cast steel filleted crank, KB hypereutectics, 10.2 CR w/64cc chambers. $950 picked up. It's a spare engine in case my 400 goes but I'd rather use funds to start building the other 400 I have or buy some FI stuff.

To answer your question, yes I have dealt with that guy before and his injector spacer was pretty nice, I have heard people say that his fuel pressure guage adapters are cool too.

am not telling you to buy an LS7 , am just saying that doing any kind of work on a ****ty LO3 is a waste of money. Just my opinion on the matter. You can't make them that fast, trust me I tired before I got rid of it. Summit does sell a racing 305 block, but if it needs to pass emissions, they you will be out of luck.

you can get the parts he sells cheaper by buying a TBI from Usedcarparts.com. get the TBI from a 454 truck. thats the big bore trottle body and the rest is interchangable with a 305 to 454 TBI. if you want steel braided line to go to it you can look on my cardomain site for part numbers and i also have another source for that too. Personnel it's cheaper o do upgrades on a TBI yourself. my 2 cents
