Amazon.com(fuel sending unit)

Today while searching for a new sending unit for my gas tank I came across Spectra Premium part # for their unit they make. After just typing in the part# amazon.com actually carries Spectra Premium. Can you believe I picked up the sending unit for my car shipped for $108 vs $165 to over $200 from other places. The also happen to carry the headlight open control module for my 91 at only $154 cheapest I have found yet. Just thought I'd share this with everyone

Re: Amazon.com(fuel sending unit)

Funny, today I bought my brake pads and exhaust header gaskets off of Amazon because they had it in stock with free shipping with the same basic price as Summit and Jegs. Saved me ~$10 in total on the order. Streetsideauto doesn't seem to carry a descent selection of gaskets for the SBC.

Re: Amazon.com(fuel sending unit)

While I haven't purchased 3rd gen parts from Amazon, I do use it for off road stuff on my 4x4 and very occasionally for my Scarab III. There prices often beat many other places and as a Prime member I get the parts extremely quickly.

Re: Amazon.com(fuel sending unit)

Thanks. I did find it a lil bit later. iPhone spell check is a blast some times.

JC Whitney is $153.04, also no pump for V-8.

JC Whitney is $149.xx WITH PUMP for V-6.

If the amazon & Whitney are the same part # by Spectra,
Whitney advertises price match.
Thanks for posting your find!! $45 saving over Whitney!!

Re: Amazon.com(fuel sending unit)

You might try www.rockauto.com - I found their pricing, shipping and coupon code to be excellent together for my Spectra tank, sending unit and Bosch pump.
