1A Auto - Excellent for Canada
I needed a power window motor/regulator, along with a power window switch (for my body-on-frame "Camaro" of course...). My local parts stores either told me it's a dealer only part (morons), or would have to order it in, $188 & $54 for the switch.
1A auto had the motor/regulator assembly in stock for $54, and the switch for $23. Even with shipping to Canada, i'm coming out at $115 (+~$50 or so for import duty charges) instead of $240+ locally.
The keypoint here, is that with 1A one's single warehouse, us Canadians don't get stuck with Rock auto's multiple shipping charges. It only makes sense to mail order parts from the states if you can order a handful of parts, and reduce your shipping costs, but with multiple warehouses, that savings disappears.
I'm going to keep 1A bookmarked for my future needs for stock replacement parts. Thanks guys!

Re: 1A Auto - Excellent for Canada
Just got the order confirmation - USPS is the shipping method. Excellent! As much as USA->USA loves Fedex/UPS, crossing the border gets very $$$ quickly with the 3rd party guys. Using the postal service takes a smidge longer, but saves huge border fees. Thanks!
