Re: Thirdgen Ranch? CROOKS
I know someone on this board has to live fairly close to him. He'll I'm in St. Louis & if I was out money from him, I'd drive the 3-4 hours & have police on standby when I couldn't get a hold of him. Have the records of transactions & get others involved. I'd show up at Thirdgen fest in force & demand my sh_t or my money.
Who lives close that can drive past & see what's going on there.

Hey guys just wanted to say my order just came in TODAY!!! Super excited about it I was feeling a little let down after I seen this thread and I didn't receive a shipping I'd number but it only took a bout a week all together to send me my front bumper insert/ grille all the way up the east coast to New York so he's obviously still in business and taking orders.. maybe he should think about freezing his site though until he gets a lot of his back orders sorted out it seems like a lot of people have had problems but for my first time dealing with them I have no complaints the package came just as described. Thanks Denny A+++ 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5 stars but doing business with you again does make me a little nervous with all these bad reviews I would never order anything over 100 dollars just to insure I didn't lose my ***.

I agree !
If you go back to post 100 , you'll see that I have edited my post to say the same thing you did . My original post was trying to be helpful to the guy , but I had the feeling something wasn't right . Your post confirmed that at least one other person thinks this guy is a shill for thirdgen ranch , and shills are one of the lowest lifeforms imaginable , kinda like a supertroll with an agenda .....

Hmmmm. Still following thread. Whatever is being done is sending a negative wave for TGR. I would still order and I am a buyer & seller. I can only image his shipping nightmares.
I saw a.post on FB within the past couole weeks, of a guy who waited three weeks to get his stuff from Denny. There was a catch he forgot to mention but did after his follow up when he got it all his item ordered.
He was in SWEDEN!

Re: Thirdgen Ranch? CROOKS
Hmmm..... I thought this is what this forum was for. To highlight people and businesses doing good for the Thirdgen community, and people or businesses wronging the Thirdgen community. I like a bunch of other folks on this thread are trying to let potential buyers to beware of some of TRG business practices. We didn't go out looking to get screwed by Denny. He chose to screw us around.... really don't feel sorry for him and the negativity around TGR. Maybe he should get on this thread and explain what's going with him and TGR.

Re: Thirdgen Ranch? CROOKS
So far i have had to get paypal twice involved to get my money back for 2 orders.
I live in New Zealand but was having my order shipped to NJ.
Denny was great at communicating until he had my money. I placed my order in November explaining I need shipment within a week and that was it until Feb this year when he said UPS was having problems with the address.Strangely the other 200 pounds of items I had ordered got there no problem. I had to get my money because the ship sailed early Jan so in effect he missed the boat.
Will never buy from again.

Re: Thirdgen Ranch? CROOKS
Shipping by sea takes six weeks. I notice the other overseas wheels buyer had exactly the same problem.
Seems like he just ships two of the four wheels so something gets delivered and he can blame the shipping company.
Seems to me that it's more than a coincidence that this exact same thing happened to both overseas buyers. Your idea that shipping times would preclude a Paypal claim make a lot of sense.

I bought a bunch of stuff from him a few years ago, quick shipping and helped out a lot. He even cut me off a pair of strut towers from a California car so I could weld them onto my rust bucket. Sorry to hear about all the problems lately, Hope everything works out for you guys!

Re: Thirdgen Ranch? CROOKS
For anyone that has paid using electronic means or across state lines, be aware you can easily file federal charges of wire fraud. There is no minimum amount of money stolen required, only that the money changed hands and you were defrauded. It's prosecuted a lot more vigorously at the federal level than the state/local level. I had a similar experience with buying an MR2 on Ebay years back, where the guy accepted payment from my account but then refused to hand over the car because he felt it hadn't sold for enough. Ebay stepped in and threatened to file charges on him, and told me I could do the same. He sold me the car for $21.78 (the final bid price, and it ran!). Sucked for him but the risk he took listing it how he did. IT later worked out fine for all parties, but the point is he stood to be in deep **** because he accepted payment.

Wasn't his Thirdgenfest supposed to have been at the end of last month? Did that ever happen? I never did see any news or information about it at all.

This Denny guy is hard to figure out. It seems he does some legit business but seems to think it's ok to rip some people off. I personally would never order anything from him again, it's too much of a gamble!

I've bought parts from them online. But I live close and pick up in person. Pay cash when I pick them up. I meet at his house.

Re: Thirdgen Ranch? CROOKS
I just bought some items from Thirdgen Ranch. They have not arrived as yet, but I have to say that my experience with Denny was really good. He was very helpful, responsive and searched out a very reasonable shipping rate for me. Sounds like many have had a bad experience but maybe he's turned things around. Now if you want to talk about a bad experience and crooks let's talk about Hawk's!

Re: Thirdgen Ranch? CROOKS
Ordered a few things from this so called "business" over a month ago and I seem to be having the same issues as everyone else. Its my own fault for not reading reviews first but seeing as he was a site sponsor I pulled the trigger. Hope no one else orders a thing from this clown. I have sent 5 Emails with not a single response from Denny B. DONT BE FOOLED LIKE I WAS THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!!!!!!!
I ordered a set of gta taillights from them. I found out a friend had ordered them previosly and returned them cause they fell apart when he opened the box. When they arrived to my house sure enough one of the lights fell apart as i set it down on the table. They denied it being returned for damage
That guy Denny is a crook. I ordered some wheels from him before Christmas and never got them. I would email him for tracking info but he would never give it to me. Luckily I used paypal and I opened a dispute. He never responded to paypal and they awarded me all my money back. I'll never buy from Thirdgen Ranch again!!
Despite kaos420's post that appears to need all caps to shout at us just how great Denny and third gen ranch is , I can't personally believe that all these people I've quoted above are lying , so I must conclude that buying from third gen ranch is a total gamble , ya might get your stuff and ya might not . Gotta admit i'd just as soon buy a few lottery tickets , seems the odds will be more in my favor .
PS , ever notice how the people who are the most wrong always shout the loudest ?

Re: Thirdgen Ranch? CROOKS
There are always two sides to issues such as this one---whether the business in question is legit or not. IMO, if said business is an advertiser of the site, Admin should look into forum members' complaints.
As far as the majority of negative posts coming from 1-posters or otherwise low-post-count forum members, the VBulletin format with which this forum operates provides a simple IP check available to forum moderators in the Moderator CP that allows them to see if possibly any of the posts are coming from the same IP, which would indicate only one disgruntled customer, registering many user accounts here, rather individual complaints coming from many individuals. But this is a small, very-low-traffic site, and the few active moderators here are volunteers, so there may be very few available to do such IP checks; IDK.
As always, when considering an online purchase from any online source, Caveat Emptor.

Didn't come on here to BS anyone. Just wish I would have seen this first, which is my problem.
My issue is the same as the others that have posted on this over the years. Buying something from this guy is more like a contribution than a purchase. He just keeps the money and that's the end. No parts, communication, refund or anything else. This guy figures he's going to just scoop up the money and all will be OK at The Ranch...he's got another thing coming.
Just trying to fix up my IROC and always buy in good faith. I'll get my money back even if I have to take it out of Denny's hide...
